Pres. Trump's Ready To Go To War Against Mexican Drug Cartels?
After learning at least nine Americans, including six children, had been killed in a crossfire between two Mexican drug cartels, President Trump, this morning, took to Twitter to express his outrage, and issue a promise.
"A wonderful family and friends from Utah got caught between two vicious drug cartels, who were shooting at each other, with the result being many great American people killed, including young children, and some missing. If Mexico needs or requests help in cleaning out these....."
5:25 AM - 5 Nov 2019 More "....monsters, the United States stands ready, willing & able to get involved and do the job quickly and effectively. The great new President of Mexico has made this a big issue, but the cartels have become so large and powerful that you sometimes need an army to defeat an army!"
But don't look for U.S. troops to march across the border just yet. So far the White House has declined to answer media questions about the likelihood of American troops taking on the cartels.
In addition, CNBC reported: "Mexico’s president, Manuel Lopez Obrador, has said he wants to crack down on drug-related violence in his country. But there was no immediate indication that Mexico would allow U.S. troops into the country to help with those efforts."
